Often in computer games there are a lot of opportunities that few people actually use. In vain: just the ability to insert runes into weapons can diversify the gameplay.
Instructions
Step 1
Read the tips carefully as you study. Different games can differ significantly from each other, and therefore the process of assigning certain runes to weapons can differ significantly in different variations - both in practice and at the plot level. Often, runes simply turn out to be unacceptable and other objects begin to perform their function. For example, playing Mass Effect you will not find anything like this at all, but structurally, the ability to modify weapons will remain.
Step 2
Take a close look at the weapon upgrade mechanism itself. Improvement can be done directly, by simply dragging a pebble to the right place - this is convenient, but it is not always the case. To increase the difficulty, sometimes players are forced to learn a special skill for this, or even find a master who could perform the operation. In fact, there are a great many options and it is impossible to disassemble everything at once.
Step 3
Read the description of the rune. Often, these or those stones can only be suitable for certain types of killing or used by a certain class of character (similar to what you can find in Diablo 2). It is also worth paying attention to whether the rune has a limitation on the level of use. This "hindrance" is inserted by the developers to control the balance so that you don't put together an uber character ahead of time.
Step 4
Look for unique weapons. As a rule, it either has built-in amplifiers from the very beginning, or allows you to place them in itself much more than a standard copy. Such rarities can be obtained by completing a side quest or by taking the life of a particularly harmful intermediate boss. Therefore, never rush to move to the next location before carefully studying the current one: you risk missing something very important.
Step 5
Compensate for each other with runes. Such a combination of artifacts can be considered "correct" when you achieve an enhancement of a well-defined effect. For example, if a rune inserted into a weapon has both positive and negative sides, then you risk not gaining anything by "killing" the pluses of other stones with the minuses. Try to get highly specialized copies, they will be much more useful in specific situations than indefinite generalists.
