Instructions
Step 1
After starting the graphical editor, press the key combination Ctrl + N (create a file). In the window that opens, you must indicate that a square-shaped RGB document with dimensions of 600 px is being created; it is desirable to use a white background.
Step 2
In the left part of the program window there is a toolbar, click on the Custom Shape tool, additional parameters will appear in the upper panel, among which there will be a choice of the shape of the future badge. In the Shape drop-down list box, select any shape. If you don't find a suitable shape, click on the arrow and select the Object collection of shapes.
Step 3
Create a shape in the document by stretching it with the left mouse button. Use the Rasterize Layer command from the context menu to overlay a raster onto an image.
Step 4
Then select the shape in the standard way or using the Ctrl key, which should be clamped simultaneously with clicking the left mouse button on the layer with the created shape.
Step 5
Go to the color picker and select 2 colors (foreground and background), one color should be slightly darker than the other. Click on the Gradient tool and draw a line on the image. If it is a simple shape, such as a square, draw a line from the upper left corner and stop at the lower right corner.
Step 6
To deselect a shape, use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + D. The resulting image should be processed, i.e. add some effects. Select the shape layer and click the "Filters" button in the layers panel. Apply a Drop Shadow filter with the following parameters: Opacity-20, Angle-120, Distance-10, Size-15.
Step 7
Then apply a Bevel and Emboss filter with the following parameters: Style-Inner Bevel, Technique-Chisel Hard, Size-2.
Step 8
Next, you need to create a new layer. For this layer, you need to reset all the colors, this can be done by pressing the English letter D on the keyboard. On the tool palette, use the "Round Selection" and make a selection of the edge of your shape. In the layers panel, set the following parameters: Layers-Lighten, Opacity-20.
