Many tools and functions of Adobe Photoshop will make even the simplest image interesting and unusual. One of the simplest and most effective techniques is to create a mirror image of an object.
Necessary
computer, Adobe Photoshop
Instructions
Step 1
From the File menu, choose New. Create a 500x500px file and fill the background with color.
Step 2
On the toolbar, select the "Text" icon and write any phrase. From the top bar of the Type tool, select a font, size, and color.
Step 3
Create a duplicate layer "text" in the layers palette on the right in the working area. Click on the duplicate layer and make it active.
Step 4
On the Edit menu, call the Transform command. In the dialog box, select the Flip Vertical option. Your text will be mirrored.
Step 5
You can complicate the task and create the effect of fading specular reflection. To do this, select the Quick Mask mode.
Step 6
Now on the toolbar, click on the Gradient icon, and on the top panel of this tool, select the type and mode of the gradient. Also set the shape of the gradient, in this case linear.
Step 7
Using the Move tool, draw a vertical line from bottom to top over the text reflection layer. This tool is located at the very top of the toolbar and is depicted with a black arrow. It can also be activated by pressing the "hot key" M on the keyboard.
Step 8
The gradient created a fading effect on the mirror image. It remains to apply the "quick mask" mode, merge the layers and save your image in the desired format.
