Many users have already infected their computers with virus programs that block any system activity until a certain amount of money is sent to the phone number indicated in the banner. Fortunately, there are ways to unlock your PC without paying the scammers money.

Step 1
Sometimes the virus does not completely block the computer, leaving the user the opportunity to run other programs. In this case, in order to unlock the PC, download from the respective developer sites and run the utilities for quickly scanning for viruses and disinfecting the computer: Dr. Web CureIt or Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool.
Step 2
On the same sites, you can use the search for a suitable computer unlock code. To do this, select the one that you see in front of you from the list of examples of blocking banners provided. Below you will see a list of suitable PC unlock codes.

If you have access to another computer that is not infected with viruses, you can also go to the sites of anti-virus software developers to download LiveCD assembly images to disinfect the system. Burn them to disks, boot from them, setting priority boot from CD-ROM in the BIOS of the infected computer, and scan the hard disk for viruses.
Step 4
Another way to unlock your PC is suitable for laptops where there is a system restore function at boot. However, for stationary computers, most likely, it is also suitable, but for this you need to make the appropriate recovery settings in advance, allocate disk space with special programs. Many users don't. Typically, however, notebooks have these capabilities installed at the time of purchase. All you need to do to unlock your PC is when you boot your laptop, go to the "System Restore" menu by pressing the corresponding command key with the letter F. Next, specify an earlier system save point and start recovery.
Step 5
After you have used any of the above methods and unlocked your PC, perform a full scan of your computer for viruses. If none of the methods helps, either wait a few days when your fresh virus will be added to the databases of the scan programs, or, if the computer is needed for work, format the disk and reinstall the system.
