Launch the Acrobat editor and load the required pdf document into it. At the left edge of the sheet there is a “Pages” tab, which displays icons of the pages of the document in the form of thumbnails with numbers. Highlight everything you need among them - you can delete one or several pages at the same time. In the same column above the list of pages there is an icon depicting a basket or even a trash can - click on it. The program will require confirmation of the operation, since it is irreversible - click the OK button in the dialog box.

The delete operation can also be performed through the main Acrobat menu. Expand the "Document" section in it and select the "Delete Pages" line. This command corresponds to the combination of "hot keys" Ctrl + Shift + D - you can use it as well. Above the page thumbnails there is a gear icon containing a drop-down set of commands - you can also select the "Delete pages" line in it. No matter how you activate this command, the editor will show a dialog box with two fields in which you need to specify the range of pages to delete. Once done, click OK.

After deleting pages from the document, Adobe recommends to force the file size to be reduced - such a command has been placed in one of the sections of the pdf editor menu. Depending on the version you are using, look for it either in the menu section called "File" or in the section "Document". In both cases, the menu bar is worded the same way - "Reduce file size". Selecting this command brings up an additional dialog box on the screen, in which you need to select one of the compatibility options for the saved document. When doing this, keep in mind that the size of the pdf file depends on the choice - if in the ninth version of Acrobat you specify compatibility only with the same versions of viewers and editors, the file size will be significantly smaller than when choosing compatibility up to the fourth versions of these applications.
