Social networks and diaries have become part of our lives. And even more so e-mail. Few of the Russian-speaking users do not have an electronic mailbox at mail.ru or yandex.ru. Both services provide their users with the ability to keep a diary. Sooner or later, you have to delete records. Today our conversation will focus on the "Ya.ru" service from Yandex.
Instructions
Step 1
First, decide firmly whether you need it. It will be almost impossible to recover what was deleted. Perhaps you have spent more than one hour on this or that recording. If, nevertheless, the choice is made, let's start. First, you need to log in to the service by following the link my.ya.ru. Just enter your username and password in the Yandex.
Step 2
There is a horizontal menu at the top of the page. Select "My Diary" from the drop-down list by clicking on the "My Page" button.

Find the required entry in the diary. You can delete or edit any of your entries. Do not use the "edit" button to make edits to an already written message. Select "uninstall".

Confirm the action by clicking "OK". Don't click Cancel. This will lead to the fact that you have to start all over again.

Alternatively, you can open the message and click the delete button on the right. It will also require confirmation of your actions described in the previous step.

If you want to delete the entire diary altogether (page on Ya. Ru). Click on the "Settings" link in the upper right corner of the screen.

On the next page, in the top horizontal menu, click the "Other" button.

At the very bottom of the page, you will see the coveted "Delete" button. Think carefully before clicking on it.
Step 9
Yandex, realizing that this is often done by accident or thoughtlessly, will give you the last chance to abandon your plans. Click on the "Delete diary" button.
Step 10
And again a surprise. Did you think it was so easy to get rid of what was written? They say that manuscripts do not burn. Even electronic ones. Click "OK" and rejoice at what we have done.
Step 11
It is done. We admire the inscription that your diary is being deleted and we update the page.
Step 12
And we see … the possibility of its restoration. Deleted records cannot be recovered in this way. Only the whole diary. Naturally, we will not restore it. The goal was: delete. We have achieved it.
