Step 1
As a rule, the driver comes with the printer. Insert the installation disc into the drive, if it does not start automatically, open the CD through the item "My Computer" and click on the setup.exe or install.exe icon. The installation process is automated, you just need to follow the instructions of the "Installation Wizard".
Step 2
In the event that the installation disc is lost, you can download the required driver from the Internet. Read the documentation that came with the equipment or on the case of your printer for the model and series. Launch your browser and go to the official website of the equipment manufacturer. Find in the menu and open the "Drivers" page.

Enter the required information about the printer and the operating system installed on your computer in the appropriate fields. Click on the Download button. Select the directory where you want to save the driver installation file. Wait for the end of the operation.

When the file is uploaded, navigate to the directory where you just saved the file. Click on its icon with the left mouse button, the "Installation Wizard" will start. Follow the instructions on the screen until the operation is complete.

If the driver is unpacked to an.inf file, you can install it using the Add Printer Wizard. It is called from the "Printers and Faxes" folder in the "Control Panel". Go through the first few steps by clicking on the "Next" button. When you reach the "Install Printer Software" item, select the manufacturer of your printer in the "Manufacturer" group.

In the "Printer" group, click the "Have Disk" button, a new dialog box will open, click the "Browse" button in it, and specify the path to the file with information about the printer in the.inf format. Complete the installation process by following the instructions of the "wizard". Print a test page if desired.
