Instructions

Step 1

Open the app, upload the picture. If you are going to make some minor adjustments, working with brushes or with an eraser, then sometimes you just need to change the current scale of the image, increase it, without increasing the volume of the image itself. To do this, just use the key combination "Ctrl +" or "Ctrl-" and the scale will be quickly changed.

Step 2

If you want to increase the size of the image, its resolution and linear size, then select the menu item "Image" on the top panel and press the button "Image size". You can do it right away using the "Alt + Ctrl + I" key combination.

Step 3

The window reflects the current parameters of your image: its size in pixels in width and height, the linear dimensions of the print, the volume that it occupies. The "Dimension" window will reflect all changes in the size of the image associated with manipulations to increase it.

Step 4

Set the parameters that you want to increase: width, height or resolution. Notice the checkboxes below: Scale Styles, Maintain Aspect Ratio, Interpolate. Check the ones you want to use. If you check the box "Maintain proportions", then it will be enough to change only the width or height of the image, the second parameter will be recalculated automatically. The checkbox "Interpolation" allows you to set the preservation of proportions between three parameters - resolution, width and height.
