Instructions
Step 1
To activate the selected patches in Samsung smartphones, press and hold the lock key until the Main Menu appears. Expand the Patch Menu link and use the Activate command. Save the changes made by pressing the lock button again and make sure that the desired operation is completed successfully - an asterisk in square brackets indicates that the patch is activated.
Step 2
Download and install a specialized application RomPatcher + for Symbian, which greatly simplifies the procedure for activating patches. Note that it is recommended that you use this application with the Domainsrv package at the same time. The fact is that the patches that must be applied to the system are installed in Domainsrv, and all the rest are installed in autoload. This separation maximizes the speed and reliability of the entire system.
Step 3
RomPatcher + is designed to change the values of certain files on the Z drive, which allows you to create new patches without interfering with the firmware of the mobile device. Please note that all patches must have a.rmp extension. Their names can be changed at the request of the user.
Step 4
Run the installed RomPatcher + application and select the desired patch. Use the joystick to select the desired action: - press the center - to activate the desired patch until the next reboot; - press the center again - to deactivate the selected patch.
Step 5
Open the "Functions" menu of the joystick and select the desired control command: - to autorun - to add the selected patch to autoload; - to domain launch - to launch the selected patch before the phone's system starts loading; - remove from autorun - to remove the patch from autoload; - Info - to get help about the selected patch Quit the RomPatcher + application.
