Music is an art form with a huge number of styles, sub-styles, visual means and techniques. Technological progress has added to all its diversity the ability to record music on a computer, and, depending on the direction and level of professionalism, this can be done in several ways.

Step 1
The easiest way is to plug in the musical instrument, insert one end of the cable into the “jack” hole. On the other, put on the “jack” - “minijack” adapter and insert it into the microphone input on the system unit or laptop. After that, you can open the sound editor, check the operation of the instrument and turn on the record button. This technology is not suitable for electric and bass guitars, since without special amplification, the signal from them will be subtle.
Step 2
To amplify the sound, connect the instrument to the mains (additionally the guitar to the effects processor, and the synthesizer to the mixing console). Then connect to the amplifier, put an instrument microphone in front of the speaker, connect the cord from the microphone to the microphone input on the computer. Start the sound editor, check the operation of all systems, press the record button.
