When preparing phonograms for concerts and performances, sound engineers are constantly faced with the need to arrange musical works in the order in which they will sound. The order should not depend on the playback equipment, so the files need to be correctly arranged when burning to disc.

Instructions
Step 1
Create a folder by copying the files you need from other partitions of your computer or from removable disks into it. Players can sort the pieces of music numerically or alphabetically. At the same time, the latter method is not very reliable, since some settings assume the location by the artist's name, while others - by the title of the work. So for reliability, it is best to put a number.
Step 2
If the number of files is small, you can arrange them manually. Find the piece that should sound first. Give it the number "001". Many players can read single-digit and double-digit numbers accurately. If there are few files, you can limit yourself to them. However, sequential numbering does not yet guarantee that files will not get mixed up during recording. The machine can put after the file with the number "001" the one before the name of which is "01" and not "002". But such actions are predictable, and they just need to be controlled.
Step 3
The most common disc burning software is Nero. It allows you to record music files in mp3 format in any order, including the order of adding files. After placing the disc in the drive and opening the program, select the function "Burn data disc". In the required window, set the type of disc - CD or DVD.
Step 4
Click the Add button. Select files in the order in which they should sound. Starting from the first. When added, the next file is automatically at the end of the list. At the same time, it is not at all a fact that the required order will be displayed on the monitor screen. To ensure consistency, check the unsorted list. However, with this type of recording, only the player that does not have the sorting function will be guaranteed to follow the order.
