Step 1
To add an English keyboard layout to your computer configuration, open Control Panel and select Regional and Language Options. On the "Languages" tab, open additional settings and use the menu on the right to add the English layout, which is enabled by default on all computers regardless of the Windows version. Sometimes it disappears, in particular, it concerns computers infected with viruses. Also, set up the commands for the transition here.
Step 2
If you want to change not the input parameters, but the interface of the operating system itself, make sure that this action is supported by your installed distribution kit. After that, reinstall the operating system in update mode.
Step 3
This is done in the following way: insert the distribution kit into the drive or start the installation from the hard disk without interrupting your work in Windows. In the options, select English if your operating system is multilingual. Follow the instructions of the menu items, after which your operating system will have an interface in English.
Step 4
If the distribution of your operating system, when editing the configuration, does not provide a choice of languages, order a new one on the official Microsoft website, after which it will be sent to you on disk. Its price is about 10-15 euros. It is possible that you will also have to specify the license information for the operating system to be installed.
Step 5
You can also use the purchase of the English or multilingual version of the Windows operating system in the stores of your city. Install in update mode, also note that the name of the system must correspond to the software installed on your computer, that is, if you have Vista installed, then you can update it only using a similar distribution kit.
