You can use Nero Express, a simplified version of Nero Burning ROM to create a copy of the CD. This application allows you to create copies both directly from optical media and from previously created and saved CD image files. The procedure itself, thanks to the well thought out simple interface of the program, is not difficult.

Instructions

Step 1

Start Nero Express and select the "Image, Compilation, Copy" section in the left pane. As a result, a choice of three options will appear in the right pane - to copy the original CD to another optical medium, select the "Copy entire CD" item.

Step 2

Place the CD to be copied into the optical disc reader. If reading and writing should be performed by different devices, then select them in the drop-down lists "Drive-source" and "Drive-destination". In the "Number of copies" field, set the required number, and in the "Write speed" field, leave the "Maximum" value, if you have not had problems with recording on the disc you are using - otherwise try to reduce the speed.

Step 3

Press the "Copy" button and the application will start reading the disk and creating a set of intermediate files it needs. You will see the progress of the process on the screen, and when this part of the procedure is completed, the program will pull out the tray with the copied disc and offer to replace it with a blank for burning.

Step 4

Insert a blank CD and the copying process will continue. When finished, Nero Express will give you a message and beep, and eject the tray containing the copied disc.

Step 5

If you want to burn a copy of a CD from a file with an image of this disc, then at the first step, instead of the "Copy entire CD" item, select "Disc image or save the project". As a result, a window will open in which you need to find the image file on the computer media and click the "Open" button. In the next window, specify the required number of copies and, if necessary, change the recording device in the "Current recorder" field. After that, insert a CD-blank into the optical drive and press the "Burn" button. The program will start the copying process, and upon completion it will beep and pull out the tray with the burned CD-disc.
