Today, there is a transitional period in the workflow, when a sheet of paper and an electronic file are equally likely to be a “document”. Instructions

Step 1

If the original is a paper document and its copy must also be received in paper form, then you need a copier - "copier". If you do not have access to it at home, at work or with friends, then find a private company that provides photocopying services - for example, many photo studios are engaged in making copies of documents. In state institutions related to the documents of the population, you can also make a photocopy - such services are provided in tax offices, passport offices, pension funds, etc.

Step 2

If you need a copy of the original paper document in electronic form, then in addition to the scanner, you can use any modern camera that can save the image to a file. These two devices (scanner and digital camera) will allow you to get the highest quality electronic copy of the document. If only the information contained in the document is important, and the quality is insignificant, you can use the built-in camera of your mobile phone or laptop. Files with copies of paper documents obtained using any of the listed devices can be further used both in electronic form and printed using a printer.

Step 3

If the original document is contained in electronic form (in a file) and its copy must also be a file, then you can create a copy using a computer program installed with the computer's operating system - the file manager. To run it in Windows, just press the WIN and E keys at the same time. Having found the file containing the original document in the window that opens, click on it once with the left mouse button, then press the keyboard shortcut CTRL + C, and after that - the combination CTRL + V. As a result, a file with the same name as and the original document, but with the addition of "Copy" at the beginning of the title.

Step 4

If you need to create a paper copy from a document in electronic form, then for this you will need a printing device - a printer. If the computer is connected to such a device, then after opening the original document in the editor corresponding to its format, press the CTRL + P key combination, and the document will be sent to print. An alternative method can be used if there is no printer, but it is possible to send a document from a computer and receive it on a telephone equipped with a fax. This method makes sense to use if the quality of the hard copy does not matter.
