Changing the Xbox Live ID associated with email, password, and Windows Live ID can be done by a user using their Windows Live ID account credentials. Possible actions include determining your ID, changing or removing your password, and switching your gamertag.
Instructions
Step 1
Sign in to Xbox Live with your tag and select the My Xbox menu option to identify your Windows Live ID.
Step 2
Use your previously selected avatar and expand the Account Management link to display the account you're looking for.
Step 3
If you can't find a forgotten or lost password, use the tips in Recover your account password, or use your Xbox console to change your Windows Live ID password.
Step 4
To do this, select the "Account Management" item and open the "Your Information" page.
Step 5
Use the Windows Live ID section and specify the Change Password section.
Step 6
Enter the values for the password to be changed and the new password in the corresponding fields and confirm your choice by re-entering the desired value for the new password.

Click the "Change now" button to confirm the execution of the command and select "Yes" in the system prompt window that opens to save the created password in the console so that it can be used when authorizing other Windows Live services.
Step 8
Use the Remove Password command to clear your Windows Live ID data.
Step 9
Return to the "Account Management" section and select "Account Management" to perform the operation to change your gamertag.

Enter Windows Live ID on the Your Details page and go to the Change WIndows Live ID section.

Click Yes if you have a second ID, or register for an additional Windows Live ID account on the Welcome to Windows Live ID page by clicking Register.
Step 12
Enter your current password in the corresponding field and click the "Login" button.
Step 13
Enter the desired email and access password for the association with the new identifier and click the "Login" button.

Click "Yes, Change" to confirm the replacement of your current Windows Live ID and click "Update Contact Information" to apply the selected changes.

Click the Finish button to complete the ID editing process.
