Step 1
If you notice that the sound card used in your computer is unstable or does not work at all, then update the drivers for this device. Try using the operating system functions first. Open Device Manager and find your sound card. Click on its name with the right mouse button. In the menu that opens, select the "Update drivers" item.

After a new window appears, select the "Automatic update" option and select the "Connect to the Internet to search for drivers" item. In this case, it is necessary to activate the Internet connection in advance. After a while, the process of installing new drivers will be completed.

If the automatic update was not successful, visit the website of the developers of your sound card. Download the suggested drivers from there. If you are using a mobile computer, then look for the necessary files on the website of the company that developed this laptop. This usually contains drivers for most devices.
Step 4
Reopen the driver update menu in Device Manager. Now select "Search this computer". Click on the "Install from a list or specific location" option and specify the folder where the downloaded files were saved.
Step 5
Sometimes you need to use additional software to install the correct drivers. Install the Sam Drivers software. Run it and wait for a while. After opening the list of available drivers, select the required kits. Read the explanation of the icons carefully. Select those files that contain new driver versions. Restart your computer after installing the components. Check the performance of the sound card by connecting a speaker system to it.
