Step 1
If you didn’t already know that there was a system registry, this might be a revelation for you. The registry is a kind of journal that records every action of the system: installing or removing programs, creating or editing files and folders, etc. To return the operating system to its former agility, it is necessary to clean the registry from unused keys and parameters.
Step 2
To do this, you can use the free Wise Registry Cleaner, which can be downloaded from the following link https://www.wisecleaner.com/download.html. Go to the Wise Registry Cleaner Free block and click the Free Download button to download the standard version. To download the Portable version, click the corresponding link.
Step 3
After installing it, you can download an additional language pack by returning to the official program page on the Internet and clicking the Language Pack link. On the loaded page, click the link with your preferred translation and save it to the directory corresponding to the recently installed utility.
Step 4
The program is launched by double clicking on the shortcut on the desktop (standard version) or the WiseRegCleaner.exe file (portable version). A pop-up window will appear in the main window of the program, in which you are offered to create a backup copy for later system recovery. Click Yes or No as appropriate.
Step 5
The program interface will be in English until you change it in the settings. To do this, click the Settings button in the upper right corner of the program window. On the General tab, go to the Default Language block, select Russian from the drop-down list and click the "OK" button.
Step 6
In the main window, go to the "Registry Cleanup" tab and click the "Start" button at the bottom of the program. When scanning is complete, click the Clean button. Exit the program and restart your computer to check if the system boot speed increases.
