The registry is the heart of your operating system, its main database, and therefore from the incorrect operation of the registry and errors contained in it, failures can begin throughout Windows. If you start to notice that Windows is performing worse, unusual errors and similar problems appear, you may need to start cleaning the registry.
Instructions
Step 1
In addition to automatic cleaning, which is offered by various programs and utilities, there is also a manual registry cleaner. Only select manual cleaning if you are an experienced PC user and confident in your knowledge and skills. Illiterate work with the registry can lead to serious consequences, up to the inoperability of the system - so take on manual cleaning only as a last resort, being confident in yourself.
Step 2
Open Start and select Run. In the line that opens, enter regedit and press enter. A window with the registry editor will open, in which you will see a column of folders and parameters. In the "My Computer" section, find the HKEY_CURRENT_USER subfolder and go to the Software subsection.
Step 3
Find records of software that you once had but was removed. The entries about him have been saved in the registry and interfere with the operation of the system. Delete unnecessary entries.
Step 4
Then open the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE subfolder and open the same (Software) section there. Search again for all files related to the programs you have already uninstalled. Delete them.
Step 5
To speed up and fix the system, this will already be enough - apply the changes, turn off the registry editor and reboot.
