Adobe Photoshop is one of the most popular graphics tools. The program has extensive functionality and for its comfortable and effective use, it is advisable to install a suitable version of the language pack. Since the standard version of the program is installed in English, and therefore the use of some functions may not be fully understood.
Instructions
Step 1
To change the English language of the interface to Russian, you can use the program settings. In the reactor window, go to Edit - Preferences - Interface. In the UI Language drop-down list, select Russian and click Ok. Then restart the program to apply the changes.
Step 2
If you do not find the Russian language in the drop-down list of settings, you will have to install a special package for localization. Download the required translation package from the Internet.
Step 3
After downloading the language pack, install it by running the resulting executable file on your computer. In the unpacking program window, specify the path to your Photoshop, which is usually located on the C drive in the Program Files - Adobe directory.
Step 4
Complete the installation procedure and run the program. If the installation was successful, all interface elements will be translated into Russian. If the language of the graphics editor has not changed, it is likely that you specified the wrong path to the Adobe Photoshop folder. Run the installation utility again and check the path that you specified before your program again and repeat the Russification procedure.
Step 5
If you cannot find a localization pack for your version of Photoshop, try downloading a newer version of the program. For example, Photoshop CS6 often has Russian built into the interface.
Step 6
Download localization files for the program only for the version you are using. For example, Photoshop CS4 must have the appropriate package for that particular CS4 program installed. A package named CS3 or CS5 will not work.
