With the advent of high-definition movies, it has become possible to crop frames from video and use the resulting images as photos or even desktop wallpapers. To obtain a frame from a movie in the form of a photograph, you can use either any video player and standard Windows tools, as well as media players that have a frame capture function.
Instructions
Step 1
An easy way to cut a frame from a movie is to pause the playback at the right place and press the Alt + PrtSc SysRq key combination. Thus, you will "take a picture" of the picture on the monitor screen by writing it to the clipboard of the operating system. To get the resulting photo from there, open the Paint program (Start - All Programs - Accessories - Paint) and press the Ctrl + V key combination. The snapshot will appear in the editor window, and you will only have to save the resulting frame.
Step 2
If you don't want to bother with a graphic editor, but you have the installed Light Alloy program at hand (if not, download it on the official website www.light-alloy.ru), open the video with this program and pause the playback. Now press the F12 key. The frame will be saved as a photo, and the path to the folder where the program saved the cut frame will appear on the screen. In the program settings, you can independently select the folder in which the received frames should be saved
