If you do not want to use complex and paid programs like Acronis, you can use the service utility of the system itself. Click on the "Start" button and select the "Maintenance" section in the menu, after clicking on the inscription "All programs". Next, click on the words "Create a system recovery disc". The backup service utility will start.
Step 2
The program will offer to insert a blank disc into the DVD drive of your computer, do it. If you have more than one drive connected, select the device in the list of devices with which you plan to record the optical disc. Click on "Create Disk" to start the backup process. Depending on the speed of your computer, this procedure will take some time - from a few minutes.
Step 3
Wait for the message that the creation of the recovery disc has been successfully completed. The program will offer to make a note on the disk with the version of the system, you should heed her advice. Remove the disc from the drive and label it with a disc marker. This precaution will save you if the operating system stops loading as a result of a system failure. Unfortunately, if a failure occurs due to hardware malfunctions, you will first need to fix the malfunctions themselves, and only then "fix" the operating system.

As a rule, images of the operating system must be done immediately after reinstallation, since the system is completely functional, and you can be completely sure that there are no virus programs or any failures in it. Keep copies of images on removable media, and regularly update or create additional ones.
