With the help of a personal computer, you can burn music to a disc, and the quality of the recording will not differ in any way from a regular disc purchased in a store. Using a computer, you can create standard music discs as well as discs with mp3 files that can be played on any consumer players.

Instructions

Step 1

Download the CD Burner XP utility, which is distributed free of charge. You can start downloading it by going to the address https://cdburnerxp.se/downloadsetup.exe. After that, install the application on your computer and launch it. In the first window that opens after launch, select the line "Create data disc". If you select the "Create Music Disc" option, the recording will be done in such a way that only 90 minutes of music will fit on the disc, which equals approximately 15-20 files. To start recording, insert the CD into the drive, and in the program select its type -DVD or CD. After that, a window for adding files will open, which looks like the Explorer program

Step 2

In the Add Files window, open the directory containing the songs you want to burn to disk. These music files must be in mp3 format, or in another supported by the audio player on which you will play the recorded CD. Drag and drop or copy songs to the left side of the add files window. The amount of remaining free space is shown on the indicator bar located at the bottom of the window. After copying all songs to the left side of the window, make sure that the indicator bar has not crossed the line, which means there is no free space on the CD.

Step 3

Press the Burn button (with a burning match icon) to start physically burning songs to a CD. During the burning process, close all windows and do not launch any applications in order not to affect the burning process in any way, as if you undo it, the disc may be damaged (if it was not rewritable). When the burn is complete, check the disc's recording quality by reinserting it into the drive and starting it up.
