Once you bought a printer without assuming that you might need to print large volumes, but now you have to watch with despondency how slowly and unhurriedly the printer produces printed pages. But it is not necessary to put up with this, because you can work on the typing speed, make it higher.

Step 1
Print speed depends on the hardware of your particular printer model and if its capabilities are limited to a certain number of pages per minute, you can only slightly speed up printing.
Step 2
Open the system section "Devices and Printers", which can be found in the "Start" menu or in the "Control Panel" in Windows. Right-click the printer icon and select Printer Properties from the context menu.
Step 3
On the General tab, click the Settings button, and in the new dialog box, click the Paper and Print Quality tab. Here, under the "Media" section, select "Plain Paper, Fast Draft Quality" (the name of this item may vary depending on the printer model). Click "OK" and close all windows.
Step 4
Now the printer will print 30-50% faster by default (depending on the model) and if you have a laser model, you will not notice a noticeable difference in quality. If the printer is inkjet, then the print quality may become noticeably worse.
