It is unlikely that you will be able to return to the previous version of Skype with one click of the mouse, but if you dig deeper into your computer, the problem can be solved.

For example, download the previous version of the program from the developer's site. Or, if you have not deleted the previously saved installation file, use it. Then, clean your computer from Skype, that is, completely remove it from the system. To do this, in the "Start" menu on the working panel of the computer, find the "Control Panel" section and go to the "Uninstall or change a program" item. In Windows 7, it is located in the Programs and Features subdirectory. Open the "Uninstall or change a program" window, find Skype in the list. Click on it and select the "Delete" option.

Another way to uninstall the program is through the same Start menu. But in this case, you need to select the "All programs" item, in the list of which you have to find and mark the folder with the name Skype. Then select the action for it - "Delete". However, sometimes in this case, the menu does not contain a shortcut to uninstall this program. Therefore, you should not rely on this method alone.

Then you can try using system rollback. To do this, in the Start menu in All Programs, find the Accessories folder. Open it and select the "Service" section. Double click on this folder and find the item "System Restore" in the list that opens. Click on this inscription and roll back the system to the date when Skype was updated.

After you uninstall the latest version of the program, install the previous one. Run the installation file (in.exe format) and then follow the program prompts. After completing the process, open Skype and enter your credentials to sign in. For the convenience of using the program, check the box “Save password”. This will allow you to avoid wasting your time on entering your username and password after each Skype launch.
