Over time, the needs of computer users change: some programs are no longer needed, the need for others increases. Sometimes, previously deleted programs and files are needed. File recovery in this case is somewhat easier than program recovery.
Instructions
Step 1
You can restore the file you just deleted by pressing the “Ctrl-Z” keys. If you are in the folder where the file was located, you will see the result instantly: the file icon will reappear.
Step 2
A file deleted some time ago cannot be restored by this action. Open the Trash folder. Folder icons are located on the desktop and in the panel at the bottom of the screen (in the illustration, it is between the computer and browser icons). Find and select the deleted files to be restored in the folder. Open the menu with the right mouse button and click the "Restore" command.
Step 3
Files deleted without moving to the "Recycle Bin" can be restored only by a specialist.
Step 4
It is impossible to restore programs in the usual sense of the word. Find the installation files and restart the installation. The program will appear again taking into account the previously set data saved upon deletion (registration, serial number, etc.).
