Skype, thanks to its broad capabilities, quickly gained immense popularity among Internet users. After all, this client not only allows you to exchange text messages, but also watch photos, make voice and video calls. In general, Skype is a fairly simple program, but it has so many functions that it is not easy to deal with them the first time. In particular, this applies to viewing photos. What do you need to know to quickly navigate this issue?

Step 1
# Via Skype, you can simply exchange photos, as is done via email or ICQ. After starting the program, you will see a dialog box. Click on the "Share" tab in it and select the next step "Send file". Now you can select any photo stored on your computer and send it to your interlocutor. If they want to share the file with you, then in the same window where the correspondence takes place, a notification about the transfer will appear. Click "Accept", select the folder where the photo will be saved, and wait for it to load. After the download is complete, the status of the file will change from being sent to received, and in the same dialog box you can click "Open file".
Step 2
If you have a camcorder, you can take your own photos without leaving your computer. To do this, open "My Computer" and activate your webcam. On the left in the menu, you will be offered various operations, including "Take a photo". Look into the camera and click on this option. The photo will be automatically saved here in the folder, after which you can view the taken photos, move them to another folder or send them to one of your friends as described above.
Step 3
Photos in Skype are also in the form of avatars, which each user sets (or not) at his own discretion. Usually, in a dialog box, the panel that contains information about your interlocutor and his photo is in a condensed version to make it easier to read text messages. If you want to view a larger photo, just hover your mouse cursor over it and click on the magnifying glass icon that appears with a "+" sign. Then, in the same way, you can minimize the dashboard to the usual view.
Step 4
Don't confuse Skype photos with Photoskype. In the second case, we are talking about a separate graphics editor and, although the name is consonant, it is spelled differently - Fotoscape.
