Step 1

Click the "Start" button, find the inscription "Computer", in the window that opens, select the command "Properties" and "Activate Windows". Click Activate Online. Then, in the special field that opens, enter the system key found earlier. Click on the inscription "Next". Follow the instructions on the computer screen to complete the activation procedure.

Be aware that online reactivation may not work. This is not surprising, since the entire authorization procedure was conceived, among other things, in order to limit the installation of one copy of a licensed Windows OS to a certain number of computers. If the activation via the Internet did not go through, you need to go to the next method - activation by phone.
Step 4
To do this, click the "Start" button again, find the inscription "Computer", in the window that opens, select the command "Properties" and "Activate Windows". Click on the item "Other ways to activate". Enter your original key details and click Next. Find the Use the automatic telephone system option. After this, it is necessary to choose the country and place that is closest to you in terms of geographical location. In the menu that opens, click on the desired number. Receive and follow the instructions of the automated system exactly.
Step 5
If prompted, use the telephone keypad to enter the installation identifier available on the screen. Record the confirmation information provided by the telephone system. Copy the data and enter it into the corresponding activation window. Click Next and follow the instructions on the display.
