DHCP is a host configuration protocol that automatically assigns IP addresses to computers and avoids duplicate assigned addresses. The DHCP enable / disable procedure can be performed using standard Windows operating system tools and does not require the use of additional third-party software.
Instructions
Step 1
Click the "Start" button to bring up the main menu of the system and go to "All Programs" to create a task to enable or disable DHCP enforcement on behalf of the administrator using the task scheduler.
Step 2
Go to the "Standard" item and expand the "Service" link.
Step 3
Select Task Scheduler and click the Create Task button.
Step 4
Provide a name for the new task and apply the check box next to "Run with highest rights".
Step 5
Go to the Action tab and click the Create button.
Step 6
Click the Browse button in the dialog box that opens and specify the path to the selected DHCP service.
Step 7
Press the OK button to execute the command and press the OK button again to confirm the application of the selected changes.
Step 8
Return to the main Start menu and go to Run to perform the operation to enable or disable DHCP enforcement for clients.
Step 9
Enter napclcfg.msc in the Open field and click OK to confirm the command to open the NAP Client Configuration Console.
Step 10
Click the Enforcement Clients button and open the context menu of the DHCP Enforcement Client parameter by right-clicking.
Step 11
Select the "Enable" or "Disable" command.
Step 12
Return to the main Start menu and go to All Programs to use an alternate method to enable / disable DHCP.

Expand the Standard link and select Command Prompt.
Step 14
Enter netsh nap client set enforcement ID = 79617 ADMIN = "Enable" and press Enter to enable DHCP enforcement.
Step 15
Enter netsh nap client set enforcement ID = 79617 ADMIN = "Disable" and press Enter to disable DHCP enforcement.
