Activating AutoCad is a rather painstaking process, which, ideally, should be dealt with by a system administrator. Nevertheless, if you follow certain rules, you can achieve the result yourself. It is assumed that you are activating the official version.

Instructions
Step 1
In order to activate AutoCAD 2011 NLM with its subsequent network use, follow the link https://registeronce.autodesk.com. Fill in all the fields on the form. In the Installation type field, select the Network option. Then specify the type of servers to be used. If you are not sure which option to choose, consult your system administrator. To activate, specify the necessary data: Serial Number can be found on the box from AutoCAD, Host name and Host ID are displayed in the Network License Manager in the System Settings tab. After filling in these fields, the program must be activated
Step 2
If you installed the demo version of Autocad 2012, then the serial number is 666-69696969, 667-98989898 or 400-45454545. In the Product Key box, enter 001D1. Finish the installation and restart the program. Then you need to select the Activate option. You will receive a message that the serial number is incorrect. Close the message and click Activate again. Select "I have a serial number from Autodesk". After that, you will be able to choose the 32 or 64-bit version. Check the one you want. Click Mem Patch, copy the information that appears into the key generator and click Generate. You will receive an activation code, which must be copied into the activation window and click "Next". The version is activated.
Step 3
Before activation, you may need to turn off the Internet - sometimes, without this, the program starts to work incorrectly. Make sure you have administrator rights, otherwise you will not be able to activate yourself. The program itself assumes that you have Vista or Windows7 operating system. If activation fails - write to the address [email protected] with complete information about the problem and servers.
