Step 1
The most popular tool for editing scanned text has long been the Abbyy FineReader program. You can download a trial or purchase the full version of the program on the official Abbyy website at www.abbyy.ru/finereader. The free trial version of the application will only give you the ability to process 50 pages of text. This limitation is removed in the full version of the program, the cost of which does not exceed $ 50
Step 2
Once you have downloaded and installed the program, run it on your computer. Load the file with the text you want to edit into the program from the "Open", "Convert Image to Microsoft Word" menu. Specify the path to the file, after which the conversion process will start.

Once completed, the text will automatically open in a new Word document. Here you can edit it using your usual tools, and then save it as a Microsoft Word file.
