If your computer frequently freezes, pay attention to its temperature and the health of the cooling system. If your computer freezes frequently, check the stability of the memory modules. Due to defects in these modules, information processing slows down. There is also the possibility of memory overheating. Disassemble the computer, check the temperature regime by simply touching the modular compartment. If the temperature is high, you will have to install additional air vents. Inquire about the type and manufacturer of the installed memory. You may need to buy a different, faster module.

Listen to the hard drive. If extraneous noises or clicks are heard, then the hard disk is defective. Computer freezes in this case are explained by dead sectors that cannot be accessed. As a result, when formatting the disk with NTFS, there will be a low speed of access to the boot area at the start of work, periodic launch of scanning service utilities, and other problems. With FAT formatting, there will simply be a "blue screen of death".

If no problems are found in the operation of the hard disk, memory and cooling system, pay attention to the BIOS, the incorrect configuration of which can cause unstable operation of the computer. The manufacturer usually performs a generic BIOS setting that may not be optimal for a particular computer. Reconfigure it based on the machine data to ensure that your computer performs as efficiently as possible in all modes.
