Want to congratulate your friend with an email card, but can't find the right one? Just find a pretty picture and decorate it with iridescent text.

Raster graphics editor Adobe Photoshop CS3 or higher, computer, beautiful picture
Instructions
Step 1
Open any image you like in Photoshop. Take the Horizontal Type Tool and write something like "Happy Birthday!" or just "Congratulations!" Choose the text style, font, size and color to your liking. Copy the text layer by pressing Ctrl + J.
Step 2
Create a new layer by going to Layer> New> Layer … or press Ctrl + Shift + N. Take the Gradient Tool (Gradient), adjust it. Choose a suitable color gradient, preferably with a lighter middle.
Step 3
Open the animation window Window> Animation. Fill the new layer with the gradient shown in the picture. Press Alt + Ctrl + G to keep the gradient on the layer. Set this layer to Overlay blending mode. Create another frame in the animation window.
Step 4
Take the Move Tool (Move) and drag the gradient over the picture with the text from left to right. In the animation window, click the Tweens animation frames button. Create ten intermediate frames. Set each of them to a time of 0.1 seconds. In the upper right corner of the animation window, click the menu button. In the list that appears, choose Select All Frames. Set the time on the last frame.
Step 5
Save the animation File> Save for Web & Devices…> Save or press Alt + Shift + Ctrl + S.
