A printer is a useful thing in the house. If you have one, you do not need to rush in search of a place where you can urgently print several pages of text or a couple of photos. But which printer do you need to buy for this? After all, there are a huge number of them on the market, and of different types and from different manufacturers.
Instructions
Step 1
Before choosing a printer, you need to determine its range of tasks and the approximate monthly volume of printing. For example, will the photos be printed on the printer and if so, with what quality and what size. As for the volume of printing, it is clear that for a student it can be 50 pages per month, and for a student - 200 or more.
Step 2
The second thing you need to decide on is whether just a printer will be enough or you need a multifunctional device. The advantages of the MFP are obvious, it makes it possible not only to print, but also to scan documents and images, as well as make copies at the touch of a button. The only drawback is the higher price.
Step 3
The next point is the economy of the device. To determine the "cost" of one printed page, you need to take the price of the cartridge and divide by the stated number of copies. Of course, you can count taking into account the possible refueling of cartridges, but this possibility is not provided by the manufacturer. Refilling cartridges reduces printing costs, but at the same time increases the likelihood of device failure and effectively voids your printer warranty.
Step 4
If you need a printer for high-quality photo printing, choose from printers with six-color printing, such as the Epson T50, or similar models.
Step 5
If you need a printer for office printing in excess of 500 pages per month, it is impractical to buy an inkjet printer, consider laser printers.
