Buying a tablet today is becoming a necessity, because so many services are designed for the presence of a user online, and it is from a tablet or smartphone with a large screen. But not everyone has the desire or opportunity to purchase the latest novelty from a well-known brand.
Buying a not the most expensive tablet can be a wise move, because in the available assortment of these gadgets, you can choose a very decent thing at a very reasonable price. Let's think about what you need to pay attention to in order to buy an inexpensive tablet that will live up to expectations.
To begin with, I want to remind you that not every new product is really needed by everyone. Of course, the release of new products and their active advertising is an effective move that pushes the sales of any company, so before settling on a particular tablet model, forget everything that was told to you in the commercials.
Criteria for choosing a budget tablet:
1. The main characteristics of the "hardware".
Of course, the more memory (RAM and ROM) in the tablet, the better, but there is also a certain lower threshold at which the tablet will perform its basic functions quite well. In my opinion, RAM in a cheap tablet should be at least 1 GB, and constant memory should be from 8-16 GB. In this case, it will be quite comfortable on the tablet to browse the pages of sites on the Internet, listen to music, watch videos (online or downloaded to a card or to internal storage).
Of course, it should be possible to connect to a WiFi network (today I do not see any new tablets without this function). It is desirable that devices (mouse, keyboard, other device) can be connected to the tablet via Bluetooth and USB. It is convenient if it is possible to insert a SIM card for mobile Internet, and there is also an LTE module.
2. Screen size and matrix.
Today there are TFT and IPS matrices. There is no fundamental difference between the two for an ordinary user. The main advantages of an IPS matrix over TFT are in wider viewing angles and richer color reproduction. Both types of matrices support fairly decent screen resolutions. It is worth choosing an IPS matrix if you plan to view a video or photo together with friends or colleagues.
The most convenient for the user will be a screen size of 7 inches and a resolution of 1024 pixels on one side.
3. Operating system.
Perhaps at least 80% of budget tablets run on the popular Android OS. It is quite convenient and understandable for most users, but if you have a great desire, you can select and tablet on Windows.
4. Additional features.
More and more often you can find on sale the so-called transformer tablets, that is, tablets with a keyboard. Such devices are especially convenient for those who need to work with documents (type or edit large amounts of text). Transformer tablets can be found at quite affordable prices (up to 10 thousand rubles).
5. Body material.
If you are awkward or have to constantly travel around the country, or for a child, it is worth choosing a tablet in an aluminum case. Otherwise, a regular tablet in a plastic case will do just fine.
