Finding the right graphics driver is very important for most computers and laptops. This will ensure stable operation of the video card. Having the correct driver version can even improve the performance of your video adapter.
Necessary
access to the Internet
Instructions
Step 1
As practice shows, there is no point in trying to update or install drivers for a video card using a standard function of the Windows operating system. Open the device manager and find your video card in the list of connected equipment. Write down its name.
Step 2
If the manufacturer of this video adapter is Nvidia, then visit the website https://www.nvidia.ru/page/home.html. Open the Drivers tab and navigate to Download Drivers. Complete the five items on the menu that appears: Product Type, Product Series, Product Family, Operating System, and Language. Be very careful, because installing the wrong driver package can lead to unstable operation of the video card
Step 3
After filling in all the items, click the "Search" button. Now select a suitable program and click the Download Now button. Wait for the software download to complete. Install the downloaded utility and restart your computer.
Step 4
If you are using an ATI video card, then follow the link https://www.amd.com/ru/Pages/AMDHomePage.aspx. Click the Support & Drivers tab. Now in the Download Drivers menu, fill in all four items and click the View Result button. Select the appropriate software from the proposed list and click the Download button. It is recommended to download the Catalyst Software Suite
Step 5
Install the downloaded application and restart your computer. If you could not find a suitable program on your own, then download the Sam Drivers database. Run DIA-drv.exe.
Step 6
Wait for the program to automatically select the correct software for your graphics card. Check the box next to Video and click the Install Selected Driver Packages button. Restart your computer after the installation process is complete.
