Scrobbler apps support a passive mode of operation, in which the statistics of your listening will only be sent to the Last.fm server when online mode is turned on. This is available for the mobile version as well.
Instructions
Step 1
In order to enable the passive mode of the Scrobbler Last.fm application, click on its launch icon on the desktop or from the Start menu, having previously disconnected the Internet connection. After that, the program will use the passive mode of accumulating information about the tracks listened to.
Step 2
After a while, connect to the Internet and check if the program is transmitting information to the server. This method is rather unreliable, but it works in most cases. Also, you can simply disable the procedure for transferring data to the site by right-clicking on the tray icon (on the right side of the Windows taskbar).
Step 3
Just uncheck the Enable Scrobbling checkbox. It is turned on in the same way. Please note that in this case, offline listening data will not be saved and will not be transmitted.
Step 4
Change the user of the Last.fm application by simply deleting your data from the login form, after which the scrobbling mode will go to passive and the listening statistics will be loaded only the next time you log in to the application. Please note that this is only available with a prior internet connection.
Step 5
To configure the passive mode of the Last.fm application for your mobile phone, make sure that data transfer via the Internet is possible, and then proceed to launch the application if it has not been opened earlier. Select a network connection from the proposed ones, go to the program's functions and select "Offline mode" from the list that opens.
Step 6
Minimize the application, open your player, after which the listening statistics will be saved in the program's memory, but will not be sent to the server. The activation of the normal mode in this case occurs in the same way.
