Step 1
Open a Skype window. Log in to the program using your username and password, otherwise the settings cannot be started. Connect your webcam to your computer and make sure it is detected by the operating system in Device Manager. If you have a built-in camera, then it will be automatically detected, however, for correct display, the appropriate drivers must be installed.

Click on the "Tools" menu item, then select "Options". In the "General" section, click on "Video Settings" to open the video image options. Wait a couple of seconds for Skype to display the webcam image. To adjust the colors of the image, click on the "Webcam settings" button located in the center of the program window. A separate window will open with controls for brightness, contrast and colors.

Adjust the settings as necessary by adjusting the balance of brightness and contrast, as well as the combination of colors in the image. Make your changes slowly so that Skype has time to adjust the image so you can see the result right away. Save the changes by clicking on the "Ok" button and then "Save". You can experiment with the settings, but remember to save them to check the result.

Sometimes problems with the colors of the webcam image are caused by a malfunctioning webcam driver. Install the latest driver for your webcam model by downloading from the manufacturer's official website. Before starting the download, pay attention to the operating systems supported by the driver.
