One of these programs is Virtual Dub. Therefore, the first thing you need to do is install the program on your computer. Then turn on your webcam and launch Virtual Dub. Virtual Dub is designed in such a way that it independently recognizes your webcam and connects to it. Make some settings for the program to work correctly.

To capture video, open the "File" tab and go to the Capture AVI menu. The capture will be made here. This setting can be changed if desired. Configure the video source by clicking Source. I can recommend you a "Video Tuner". It will allow you to adjust the contrast, color.

Now customize the format by clicking on the Format tab. The optimal resolution is 352x288. Set the color depth to YUY2. Then go to setting the Audio format. Below you will see numbers.
