Computer, music center, adapter wire
Instructions
Step 1
When planning to connect the music center to a personal computer, you will have to acquire a special adapter wire that will allow you to synchronize the operation of the devices. You may need two types of wire: with a bifurcated plug at both ends (useful when connecting the music center to a PC via a subwoofer), and a wire with a bifurcated plug at one end (required for direct connection of the center to a computer). As you already understood, there are two ways to connect the music center to a PC, which we will consider in more detail.
Step 2
Connecting the music center to a PC via a subwoofer.
If you look at the back of your music center, you will see two jacks close to each other (audio inputs). Insert one bifurcated end of the wire into these jacks, while the other bifurcated end should be inserted into the subwoofer (instead of the speakers). Turn on the music center and set it to "AUX" playback mode.
Step 3
Connecting the music center to the computer directly.
In this case, you will need a wire, one end of which will be equipped with a bifurcated plug, and the other with a single one. Insert the bifurcated plug into the jacks on the music center. The solid plug must be inserted into the audio output on the back of the computer. In the dialog box that opens, define the device as "Center channel / subwoofer". After connecting, turn on the music center and activate the "AUX" mode. Thus, you will make the correct connection of the center to the PC.
