When the printer or its cartridge is idle for a long time, the cartridge heads, or rather their nozzles, tend to dry out. This makes it impossible to print with such a cartridge. In this case, the only way out is to clean the cartridge nozzles. An Epson brand device was taken as a test printer. Any type of cartridge (capillary and foam) can be used.

Instructions

Step 1

I would like to note right away that all actions related to cleaning the nozzles must be performed only when the printer is turned off. If only faint prints or streaks are visible when printing text on the sheet, then you need to use a replacement cartridge that has the same ink level. This cartridge must be refilled with resuscitation fluid. Insert it into the printer and then turn it on.

Step 2

Take advantage of the nozzle cleaning feature using the Epson driver. After a 2 hour break, try to print a page so the liquid replaces the ink in the print head nozzle. Let the printer sit like this overnight.

Step 3

In the morning, repeat the cleaning using the printer driver. Leave the printer alone for a few more hours, then clean again.

Step 4

After a 2-hour interval, change the cartridge to the old one, clean the printer nozzles. Then you can safely print multiple sheets. If no visible changes have occurred, then the cartridge can no longer be restored. When changes appear, you can repeat the above procedure to consolidate the result.

Step 5

It is worth noting that the first time the cartridge is refilled with the help of the reanimator fluid, a combination of paint and this fluid will be obtained in the cartridge container. To remove the ink from the cartridge, it is necessary to empty and refill the cartridge with the resuscitation liquid.
