Step 1
Restart your Toshiba laptop and when the first black screen with white characters appears, press the Delete key several times in a row. For some models, other commands are also characteristic, for example, F2 or F10, here everything may depend on the motherboard model. Most old-style laptops supported entering BIOS using the same commands, but recently these commands vary too much, even within the same line of computers.

Also use pressing F1, Esc, F11 and so on. Also, in rare cases, the BIOS can be started by pressing not one, but two keys. In this case, try using the aforementioned keys in combination with Fn, Ctrl, alt="Image" and so on.

When booting the computer, pay attention to the inscription Press … to enter setup, instead of the dots, the corresponding key should be indicated to enter the configuration of the BIOS program. If you do not have time to view the inscription, use the PauseBreak key in the upper right corner. Some motherboard models support the action of stopping the download when it is pressed, after which you will only have to check the desired command.

Carefully read the overview of your motherboard, especially with regard to the functionality of the keys at boot. It is possible that there you will find the information you are interested in.

You can find out the model of the motherboard by turning the laptop over and looking at the information on the service stickers, as well as in the device manager, which is launched from the "Hardware" tab in the computer properties. Alternatively, you can simply read the configuration on the box.
