Sometimes the simplest problem with operating system settings takes up a lot of time from an ordinary user of a personal computer. One of these problems can be the deployment of the monitor screen. Let's analyze how to unfold the screen using the standard tools of the Windows XP and Windows 7 operating systems and the iRotate software application.
It is necessary
- 1. The drivers for your video card installed in the system.
- 2. iRotate software application of different versions.
Instructions
Step 1
In Windows XP, press the Ctrl and Alt keys at the same time. Then press the Up (Down) arrow. The screen rotates 90 degrees.
Step 2
If the screen does not respond to key presses in any way, then use the nVidia control panel (if you have a video card of this company). Select the "Orientation" menu in the screen settings. If you have an ATI video card, use the ATI control panel.
Step 3
If the above steps are not followed in your operating system, then install iRotate 3.0. The application allows you to expand or quickly rotate your desktop by 90, 180 or 270 degrees.
Step 4
Select the video card installed in your system in the program. Enter the monitor settings menu and unfold the screen. To do this, press the "Options" button, then select how many degrees to rotate the screen and press the "Apply" or "OK" button. You can expand the desktop in Windows 7 using the same keys or through the video card control panel. You can use the monitor menu if necessary.
