Some video game developers sometimes leave their attention to the PC and release versions of games only for consoles, thereby depriving owners of personal computers of the opportunity to play them. The problem is especially relevant if the previous parts of the game were released on the PC, and you really want to play the next part. So many hits have come out on the Xbox 360 console, and if there is a game among them that you want to play, then you can try to launch it on a PC.
It is necessary
- - A computer;
- - emulator Cxbx-0.7.8c.
Instructions
Step 1
To run console games on a computer, special emulators are used. But if emulators for older versions of consoles work more stably, then emulation of games on Xbox360 may cause problems. First, you need to make sure that your computer has sufficient power. You must have at least a dual-core processor, preferably over 3.2 GHz. Desirable two gigabytes of RAM and a good discrete graphics card with 512 megabytes of memory. In general, the more powerful the computer, the higher the likelihood of running the game on the computer.
Step 2
As already noted, special emulators are used to run games from consoles. Download the emulator Cxbx-0.7.8c from the Internet. It doesn't need to be installed. Just unzip the archive to any folder. Start the emulator. After launching it, select Settings. Next, in the menu that appears, click on Config video.
Step 3
The graphics settings window will open. Check the box next to the Start in fullscreen line. Next, click on the arrow next to the Video resolution line. A list of possible screen resolutions will open in the window. Set the minimum resolution.
Step 4
Then click File. In the menu that opens, select Open xbp. Then, in the browse window, specify the path to the saved game image. The game will now open. Control and other parameters can be configured using the emulator menu.
Step 5
It should be noted that there is no guarantee that the game will definitely run on a computer using an emulator. Also, no one guarantees that it will not "slow down". It all depends on the specific game and the power of your computer. So do not be surprised when, when you try to open it, you just see an error in the emulator, or after starting the game itself, it will pretty much "slow down".
