Step 1

Step 2
Insert the game disc you want to burn into your disc drive. Wait for the game to start and then press the X key on your joystick. In the menu that appears, select the "Install" section. After that, you will see a message that will display the process of writing files to the hard disk of the device.
Step 3
To record a game, you need at least 4 GB of free space on your storage medium. Otherwise, you will receive a notification about the need to free up the necessary space by deleting the music, videos and games recorded on the console. Installation may take about 10 minutes. After the end of the procedure, you will see a corresponding notification.
Step 4
Even after installing the game on your hard drive, you will need to insert the game media into the console's reader. If you want to play games without a disc, you will need to purchase the game you want from the Xbox online store located in the main menu.
Step 5
Insert the game disc into your Xbox drive to play the game from your hard drive. After that, press the button A of the gamepad and select the game that is in the reader. It will be launched from the internal storage media of the set-top box.
Step 6
To uninstall from the hard drive, also install the media of the game you want to uninstall first. After that press Y on the controller and select "Delete".
