The first method will help if your computer is not set to the maximum speed of the USB ports by default. Turn on your computer. Immediately after turning on the power button on the system unit on the keyboard, press the Del or F1, F2 button. When the USB option is selected, set it to the highest possible value (most likely it will be USB 2.0). If the Full speed value is available, then set it. Save the settings when exiting the BIOS. The computer will restart. Now the speed of the ports will increase noticeably.

If your motherboard has USB 1.0 ports, their speed cannot be increased. You can find out the type of ports in the manual for the motherboard or in the BIOS as described above. Such ports themselves are very slow and one should not expect high speed from them. The way out of the situation can be the purchase of a PCI USB controller. Installing the device will add new high-speed USB ports to the system board. The fastest controllers are PCI USB 3.0.
Step 4
Unplug your computer and remove the cover. Install the controller into the PCI slot. These slots are located on the lower left side of the motherboard. They are signed. Insert the controller and attach with the screw. Make sure it fits well in the slot. Do not close the lid of the system unit yet. Turn on your computer. The system will automatically detect the device and install the drivers. When the message appears that the device is ready for use, insert the USB flash drive and check. If everything works, close the lid of the system unit.
