Quite often, you can improve the performance of your mobile computer without having to install expensive new hardware. To do this, you need to clean the OS and optimize its work.

Instructions
Step 1
Start the process of preparing your laptop for overclocking by clearing the hard drive and its partitions from unnecessary files. Open the My Computer menu. Right-click on the system partition of the hard drive. Select Properties.
Step 2
Now click the "Disk Cleanup" button and start the process of removing unnecessary files. Repeat this procedure with other partitions on the hard drive. Now go back to the properties of the system partition. Find the item "Allow indexing of file contents in addition to its properties." Uncheck the box next to this option. Click the Apply button and wait while the new command is applied.
Step 3
Carry out a similar operation with other partitions of the disk. Now get on with removing the invalid registry files. Download and install the RegCleaner program. Run this utility.
Step 4
Click the "Scan" button and wait while the procedure for analyzing the system registry is completed. Now click on the "Clear" (Delete) button. Close the program.
Step 5
After completing the above procedures, proceed with the comprehensive configuration of the operating system. Download and install the Advanced System Care program. You can find it on the website www.iobit.com.
Step 6
Run this program and open the Windows Cleanup menu. Select the checkboxes of all the items on this menu, except for the "Registry Cleanup" option, and click the "Scan" button. Wait a little while the program analyzes the state of the system. Now click the "Repair" button.
Step 7
After correcting the OS parameters, go to the "System Diagnostics" item. Repeat the cleaning procedure described in the previous step. Naturally, activate all four menu items.
Step 8
Open the Utilities menu and select the Memory Cleanup function. Click the Forward button. Specify the Deep Clean option. Close the program and restart the laptop.
