It is necessary

network adapter, network cable

Instructions

Step 1

Select a computer that will have direct access to the Internet. It is recommended to use a stationary computer for this purpose, which has the highest performance among other devices.

Step 2

Purchase an optional AC adapter. Better to use an internal network card that connects to the motherboard via a PCI slot.

Step 3

Connect the adapter to your computer and install drivers for it. Connect this equipment to another computer using a network cable. Connect the internet connection cable to the first network card.

Step 4

Create a new internet connection. Configure its parameters based on the requirements of your provider.

Step 5

Open the Network and Sharing Center. Go to the properties of the second network card. Open TCP / IP (v4) settings. Activate the item "Use the following IP address". Set a permanent (static) IP for this adapter, the value of which will be, for example, 43.43.43.1.

Step 6

Go to the second computer (laptop). Open the network adapter settings as described in the previous step. Set the parameters for this network card, the values of which follow from the IP address of the first computer: - IP address 43.43.43.2

- Default gateway 43.43.43.1

- Preferred DNS server 43.43.43.1.

Step 7

This completes the setup of the second PC. Go to the first computer and open the internet connection properties. Find the "Access" tab and open it. Allow general access to the Internet for all devices on the network formed by your computers. Configure firewall and firewall settings if necessary.
