With constant use of a network printer or MFP (multifunction device) at home, they refuse to print. And last night the printer was printing, but this morning it is no longer. There can be several reasons for this refusal to print: the wrong choice of the printing printer, loading the print manager, or a problem with the drivers. To solve each problem, certain actions must be taken.
Necessary
Computer, Windows operating system, printer or MFP
Instructions
Step 1
Once you have created a document, have hammered in all the information that you wanted to see in this document, you start printing it. If you are working with a text editor MS Word, then a window with a choice of printing options should appear in front of you. For the correct printing of your document, you must specify your printer, or a printer that is in the public domain. To do this, in the printer selection field, click the small triangle to expand the list of all available printers. After choosing your printer, you can start printing.
Step 2
If you have selected the correct printer and the document still does not print, check the print spooler. When you start printing, a printer icon appears in the system tray (tray). If it does not disappear for a long time, then the problem lies in the loading of the manager. It so happens that some documents either take a long time to load, due to their large volume (text with graphics), or the printer does not respond. Long waiting times for printing are treated by completely deleting the print queue. Double-click on the printer icon in the system tray, you will see a window in which you need to cancel all the files put out for printing. Right-click on this file, select "Clear". After this action, start to print your document, it should be printed.
Step 3
If it still remains unopened, then the matter may be in a disabled print device, or outdated drivers. If all wires are engaged, try restarting your computer with the printer. To reset the memory of documents of laser printers, you must turn them off for 5 seconds. After turning on the printer and computer, you can try updating the drivers or reinstalling the old ones. It often happens that the cause of a printer failure is a failed driver.
