The security question is the guarantor of the security of your mailbox and one of the methods by which you can change your password if you have forgotten it. Security questions are often standard on mail servers.

Step 1
In order to change the security question, you need to go to your mailbox. Go to the main page of the mail server, then enter your username and password. Open your mail, wait for the page to finish loading.

Find the "Settings" menu item in your mailbox. After that, find the item "Security" or "Password recovery data". The names can vary depending on the mail server you are using. Open the page that contains the security settings for your mailbox.
Step 3
Find the item in which your possible actions are indicated in case you forgot your password. Find in the possible choices of your actions the item, which is "Answer the security question". Choose another secret question, as an answer, write in any word, preferably difficult to spell, but easy to remember for you. Make sure that this word does not fit the meaning - this will create additional difficulties for those who want to break into your mailbox.
Step 4
After that, you will be prompted to enter your password from the mail. Enter it and save your changes. Sign out and go to your inbox and then check your security settings to make sure everything is preserved.
Step 5
Remember that if someone else finds out the answer to your security question, your inbox could be hacked. Therefore, either do not communicate with random people on the topic of the secret question, or change it, making it not suitable in meaning but memorable for you.
