Instructions
Step 1
First, connect an additional hard drive to your computer. The fact is that for data recovery you will definitely need a second hard drive. you cannot save recovered files to the same disk. Create a multiboot disk to run certain utilities in DOS mode.
Step 2
Download a bootable disk image containing Acronis Disk Director. Burn it to DVD media. To do this, use the Nero program. Select DVD-Rom (Boot) mode. If you want to facilitate the process of creating a multiboot disc, then download the iso File Burning program and use it.
Step 3
Insert the resulting DVD into your drive and turn on your computer. Select the option to boot from DVD media. Run the Acronis Disk Director utility. Specify the manual type of program operation. Right click on the dynamic hard disk and hover over the Advanced menu. Select "Recovery" in the opened window.
Step 4
Click on the "Manual" item to disable automatic configuration of recovery options. Click "Next". Activate the "Full" option to provide the best quality and deepest disk scan. Wait while the program creates a list of pre-existing partitions on the dynamic disk. Select the one you want to restore. Click "Next".
Step 5
Now open the "Operations" tab in the main menu of the Acronis program. Click on the "Run" item and click the "Proceed" button in the menu that opens. Wait for the recovery of the dynamic disk partition to complete and restart your computer. Use the GetDataBack program to recover lost data previously on this section. It is specially designed to work with dynamic disks.
